The European Commission approved the Large Infrastructure Projects submitted by the Programme

We are pleased to announce that the European Commission approved the Large Infrastructure Projects selected for co-financing in the Programme. It paves the way for signing grant contracts with ten such projects:     

  1. Expansion of the regional road No. 885 Przemysl – Hermanowice – State Border in km 3+642 - 10+257.
  2. Construction of the infrastructure of the rail border crossing in Siemianówka.
  3. Improvement of accessibility of the border region via upgrading of the regional road No. 698, including renovation of the bridge on the Toczna River in Łosice.
  4. Extension of the voivodeship road No. 812 on the section Korolówka – Włodawa.
  5. Polish-Belarusian Cross-Border Safety. Strengthen of fire and rescue services potential.
  6. Improvement of border region road infrastructure ensuring sustainable access to the border region (modernization and construction of road P-16).
  7. Establishment of the system of dynamic response toinformation of crimes and other events in Lviv.
  8. Reducing of the risk of TB epidemic in the border areas of Ukraine and Poland through the construction of tuberculous hospital for 100 beds in Zakarpatska Oblast and introduction of innovative methods of tuberculous monitoring, prevention and treatment.
  9. Construction of the relocatable X-ray scanning control system of vehicles at the border checkpoint “Berestovitsa”.
  10. Improvement of the environment within the Shatsk National Natural Park by building sewer systems in rural settlements around Lake Svityaz.

 

Large Infrastructure Projects are projects of strategic importance, submitted in the direct award, non-competitive procedure by Polish, Belarusian and Ukrainian regional and national authorities. They will be implemented by institutions with exclusive competences in the areas they concern.
