The project "Remodelling of passport and customs control pavilions in the road border crossing point in Kuźnica Białostocka" (acronym PAVILIONS) is implented within the Thematic Objective BORDERS. The Lead Beneficiary of the project is the Podlaski Voivode (PL), whereas the State Customs Authorities of the Republic of Belarus is a partner.
The road border crossing Kuźnica Białostocka - Bruzgi was opened in 1990 and is a strategic crossing on the Polish-Belarusian border. It is meant for passenger and goods traffic. Due to the large number of heavy goods vehicles cleared, it is necessary to reconstruct the customs and passport control pavilions.
