Category: Programme News

The long awaited moment has arrived ... Here are the results of the movie spot contest! The aim of the contest, organized by the Programme, was to promote the richness and diversity of the cultural heritage of the common borderland.

The Main Prize of the Programme was awarded to Mrs. Natallia Paulava from Belarus, who took the subject of the competition into an original animation. Congratulations! Natallia Paulava is a teacher in Pinsk (BY). "This handicraft, cut-out, is our culture, our tradition. It is a Polish, Ukrainian and Belarusian tradition, I found it in all these countries. In some periods of time we all used this kind of art" – said about her exceptional movie spot.

The prize for the winner, apart from the Programme's statuette, is the PBU promotional set and a trip funded by the Organizer for one of the Programme's foreign events. The winning spot will be shown during the events of the "EAST of CULTURE" Festival in 2019 in Rzeszów, Lublin and Białystok, gathering about 300 000 people every year. It will also be promoted on the Festival and Programme websites, fanpages and even ... on Rzeszów city buses. During the inaugural concert at the stadium in Rzeszów, the spot was shown between two EUROVISION participants: the TULIA folk group from Poland and the Navi Band from Belarus!

Instead of the second and third place prize, the jury awarded distinctions. They will be received by Mr. Wiktor Zasławski from Ukraine and Mrs. Yekaterina Pozharko from Belarus. Congratulations! We encourage everyone to participate in the next contests of the Programme!
