On 26^th September 2019, we participated in the ceremony of commencing works within the Large Infrastructure Project “Extension/rebuilding of the regional road No. 885 Przemyśl - Hermanowice – State Border in km 3+642 – 10+257”– acronym LIP885. The ceremony was also attended by representatives of the leading beneficiary - Podkarpackie Voivodeship Roads Authority, government and self-government administration authorities. All the representatives underlined that this investment is crucial for increasing accessibility of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship for Western Ukraine and vice versa. They also expressed their hope that the implementation of the LIP885 project will create a new investment area in the vicinity of the modernized road as well as increase international traffic mobility.

It should be emphasized that the LIP885 project, with EUR 7,5 million budget, is the largest of all Large Infrastructure Projects under the Programme. The almost 7 km section of the regional road no. 885 will be modernized under the project. Thanks to this, the project shall enable the communication accessibility to the designed Polish-Ukrainian border crossing Malhowice-Nyzhankovychi.

According to the Grant Contract, the project should complete all its’ activities by 8th October 2021.
