October 31 - November 01, 2019 we participated in the 19th International Economic Forum "Invest in Lviv Region", which took place in Lviv. The main objectives of the event were to present Ukraine as a safe place for doing business, to create conditions for dialogue between the authorities and business, to intensify cross-border cooperation, to attract investments, to establish contacts between Ukrainian and foreign business circles.

The second day of the Forum was devoted to the topic „Project Management in the Context of Cross-Border Cooperation". Olga Parasotska, the Head of Lviv Branch Office, participated in the panel discussion "Successful implementation of international technical assistance projects", presented the state of play and the experience of the 1st CfP in successful poject implementation. PBU beneficiaries also shared their experiences and thoughts on important aspects of successful project implementation. Dmytro Balko, the representatve of KSICHER project (PBU/0302/17), noted that the common task for Ukrainian (Chervonohrad) and Polish (Księżpol commune) bneficiaries  is to protect the natural heritage by preventing pollution of rivers flowing through the project area. Fedir Yurochko from the HCS project (PBU/0376/17) emphasized the need to expand access to medical services in the field of modern surgery and told about the challenges that beneficiaries face.
