When promoting the Programme, we remember about its previous editions. We try to keep in touch with our former beneficiaries. The result of this cooperation is our participation in the Regiostars competition organized by the European Commission. This is an Europe’s award to EU-funded projects which demonstrate excellence and new approaches in regional development. More about the competition you can find here. This year we submitted two projects:

1. YOUTHS STANDING TOGETHER FOR SAFETY “Young People in Border Regions: Standing Together for Safety” (category: topic of the year – "Youth empowerment for cooperation across borders - 30 years of Interreg”)

2. PL-BY SCIENCE-TECHNOLOGY CENTRES “Creative Centres for Science and Technology in Suwałki and Hrodna” (category: “Skills&education for a digital Europe”).

An independent jury will choose up to 5 finalists per category. Now we can show the jury that our projects are the best by expressing our likes on the competition platform.
The list of the finalists will be announced on 9^th July.

After that step we will have the chance to vote for our favourite project. On 9^th July an online voting tool will appear on Regiostars website. The project with the most votes receives the Public choice award. We will publish the link for online voting on our webpage.
