On September 16, the XX International Economic Forum was held in Lviv, which was attended by, among others, local government officials, diplomats, representatives of foreign trade missions, eminent economists, scientists and experts. The organizers (including the Lviv Regional State Administration and the Lviv Regional Council) also invited representatives of our Programme to the Forum.
The panel discussions focused on the needs of intensifying cross-border cooperation, investment and international technical assistance, establishing fruitful business contacts between Ukrainian and foreign companies and creating a new concept of conducting and developing business in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Among the speakers of the Forum were: Mr. Rostyslav Tomenchuk, Director General of the Directorate for Coordination of International Technical Assistance and Andrzej Słodki, Head of the JTS PBU, who took part in the panel "International technical assistance as a tool for influencing the socio-economic development of municipalities". The Programme Branch from Lviv organized an information stand. The meeting was also an opportunity to talk about the future of the Programme.
