PBU Programme supports access to health, improvement of health-care services, cooperation between the medical institutions and preventing diseases across the borders.

Under the PBU Programme:

• 15 projects received financing within the Programme thematic objective Security, Priority 1 Support to the development of health protection and social services;
• 3 projects have been already completed;
• 33 M EUR in total will be transferred to beneficiaries within Priority 3.1.

    23 hospitals

Thanks to the PBU support 22 hospitals and medical facilities will be modernized or rebuilt and 1 entirely new hospital built till the end of the current Programme edition.

We support the beneficiaries inter alia to:

• improve 28 health care services;
• purchase 989 medical equipment;
• purchase 16 medical vehicles;
• organize 133 events devoted for the public health.

Thanks to these investments, 10.5 M people from Polish-Ukrainian and Polish-Belarusian borderland will have better access to the public health.
