On 30th September, the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Poland-Belarus-Ukraine Programme 2014-2020 hosted a group of finalists of the Youth Education Campaign organised as part of the European Cooperation Day 2022 celebrations. The event was attended by more than 60 children aged 12-16 from Polish and Ukrainian schools of the Programme area and accompanying them teachers.
The meeting with young people was hosted by Ms Ewa Modzelewska, representative of the European Commission in Poland, and Dr Spasimir Domaradzki from Team Europe.
This year in the European Union is dedicated to you - the youth. I hope that our meeting will inspire you to take further actions and develop cooperation between the youth from Poland and Ukraine - emphasised Ms Ewa Modzelewska.
Young people had the opportunity to take part in a lesson on the Union, European values and the functioning of the EU institutions. The lesson met with great interest, and at the end the participants asked questions to the presenter.
We hope that this meeting with representatives of the European Commission and Team Europe will be an important experience for young people.
