The European Commission is accepting applications for the next edition of the REGIOSTARS competition. It promotes interesting projects co-financed by the EU that have improved economic, social and territorial cohesion.
Projects can be submitted in one of 6 categories:
The prize for the winner in each category is a local communication campaign carried out in cooperation with the Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) to promote the awarded activities in the region.
The finalists will be invited to the final selection phase during the European Week of Regions and Cities in Brussels to:
Before this stage, each of the Finalists will take part in a communication training.
By May 12th 2023, please inform us (to the e-mail address: magdalena.okulska@pbu2020.eu) about your willingness to submit your project (only PBU projects) to the competition. The project should fall into one of the above thematic categories.
From among the submitted proposals, the JTS together with the Programme Managing Authority will select the five projects that best meet the criteria (only five projects can be submitted per programme).
Then, for the selected projects, the Managing Authority will issue letters of support.
In the next phase, beneficiaries of selected projects will have to submit an application via the REGIOSTARS online platform. Of course, we will help you in this regard.

The winners of the REGIOSTARS Awards will be announced at a ceremony in Ostrava, Czech Republic, on 16th November.
