The European Commission has announced a call for pilot projects on the elimination of border obstacles.
The projects may concern, for example, the unification of legal norms or overcoming administrative obstacles related to employment, health, transport, multilingualism or institutional cooperation. Selected projects will be the basis for the study of innovative ways to solve border-related problems. Their results will be summarized in the final compendium, which will be widely disseminated.
Co-financing can reach a maximum of 20 000 EUR, and the project can last up to 15 months. The call is open for eligible public bodies and projects should be implemented in partnership. The Commission will select a maximum of 20 pilot projects. The deadline for submitting applications is 30th April this year.
