On 4th July 2018, following the decision of the European Commission, the CBC Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2014-2020 officially enters its implementation phase. The Ministry of Investment and Economic Development was successfully designated as the Managing Authority of the Programme.

For programme beneficiaries it is a very good and long awaited information. Starting from today , beneficiaries who signed the grant contract for project implementation can start with planned activities and cover their costs. Thus, the beneficiaries of 24 projects that were contracted so far can start putting their ideas into action. Information on individual project implementation launch date will be sent to each particular project. 

The Managing Authority continues the contracting process and signed another five grant contracts for over 11M EUR of total amount of co-financing:

• Improving the accessibility and the quality of borderland road infrastructure by modernising roads in Nowy Dwor Municipality and the H-6044 route Svyatsk-Wasilewicze-Ostasha-Kadysh in Grodno Oblast (lead beneficiary: Nowy Dwór Municipality)
• Improvement to the capacity, control and security of the road border crossing in Kuznica Białostocka (lead beneficiary: Podlaski Voivode)
• Improvement of border management operations at road border crossing points BRUZGI and BERESTOVITSA (lead beneficiary: Grodno Regional Custom House)
• Roads connecting the Polish and Ukrainian borders (lead beneficiary: Bielany Community)
• Cross-border Network for Sustainable Transport Governance(lead beneficiary: Bialostocki Poviat)
