On February 16^th, representatives of the Programme participated in The "Europe of the Carpathians" Conference in Krasiczyn near Przemyśl (Poland). The head of the Polish branch office, Alicja Wosik-Majewska, held the presentation on the PBU rules and activities. Participants of the conference could also obtain additional information at the Programme's promotional stand.

The "Europe of the Carpathians" Conference is organized on the initiative of Marek Kuchciński, the Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland and its idea dates back to 2007. This year, the 22^nd edition of this event took place and it was devoted to topics related to tourism, history and the development of the Carpathians. Among the panelists there were representatives from Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Ukraine, including the Minister of Investment and Economic Development (Poland) Jerzy Kwieciński.
