Project idea (in English)

The idea of ​​the project: Nizhnyverbizka rural territorial community is located in the Ivano-Frankivsk region at the foot of the Carpathian mountains. In particular, four mountain rivers flow through the territory of the village of Nizhny Verbizh: the Prut River, the Sopivka River, the Lyuchka River, and the Pistinka River. During the rainy season, the water in the village of Sopivka, the Lyuchka River and the Pistinka River overflows its banks, flooding most of the village, residential buildings, and agricultural land, thereby causing enormous damage to the residents of the village of Nizhniy Verbizh. The project envisages clearing and regulating the riverbeds of the Sopivka, Lyuchka and Pistinka rivers in three areas, building one right-bank and two left-bank water protection dams in two areas, filling the bank in one area, securing the built dams and the bank in three emergency areas with large-sized stone prisms and planting perennials plants.
