Did you know that on 3rd March we celebrated World Wildlife Day? This is a great opportunity to get a close look at how unique and diverse nature is in our Programme area. These include numerous national parks and their wildlife and stunning views.
With the support of the Programme, environmental infrastructure has been built or upgraded and many joint initiatives have been developed to promote and protect the common natural heritage.
In the new edition of the Interreg NEXT Programme Poland-Ukraine 2021-2027, which starts already in May, the first call will also focus on the environment.
That is why we are inviting children and youth (aged 6-18) from our Programme area to take part in the art competition "ECO borderland". The themes of the works can include issues related to, among others, the nature of the borderland, environmental protection, renewable energy sources, ecological means of transport, recovery of secondary raw materials.
It can be drawn, painted, pasted or sketched - the technique is free!
Inspiration can be drawn from projects implemented as part of the Programme. Their database is available HERE.
The winners will not only receive attractive prizes - the most interesting works will also be honoured and featured on gadgets promoting the Programme.
