In the RegioStars Awards 2018 organized by the European Commission for the most original and innovative projects co-financed from European Funds, out of 102 projects entered to the awards, 21 finalists were selected . Among them are two projects implemented with the support of Joint Technical Secretariats run by the Center of European Projects. The project "Health is the most important thing” with the participation of Kętrzyn commune and the city district of Oziorsk was awarded in the category "Creating better access to public services". The project was implemented from the funds of the Lithuania-Poland-Russia Programme 2007-2013.
In the "Investing in cultural heritage" category, the project "Raised Bogs – a Unique European Area" with the participation of Czarny Dunajec Municipality and Orava Museum Pavel Országh Hviezdoslav was nominated. The project was implemented within the Interreg VA Poland-Slovakia Programme 2014-2020.
