We invite the youth of cross-border region (aged 15-23) to take part in the Open Day for Young People under the 2019 European Cooperation Day organized by Cross-border Cooperation Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2014-2020. The event will take place on 28th September in Brest, Belarus. During the EC Day-2019 event the representatives of PBU projects will share their experience on the implementation of projects for youth. Brest Branch Office experts will present the CBC Programme PL-BY-UA 2014-2020 general information, its opportunities for the young generation. Besides, they will tell about Programme activities and events, in which young people can take part.
After presentations, the participants will visit the Interactive Museum of Historical Development of the Fire Service of Brest Region (created within one of the CBC Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2007-2013 project). The coordinator of the project will conduct an excursion in the museum.
The participants inspired by project stories will be proposed to draw a picture on the topic “Europe is You”. Everyone will get all the necessary materials (easels, paints, brushes, pencils, and paper) to be able to express their thoughts on the topic. The drawing technique can be any. The maximum time for drawing – 2 hours.
Optional (for those who will not draw): communication in informal surroundings on the topic “Europe is You”. Young people will talk about the role of Europe, possibilities to take part in EU Programmes and initiatives. The moderator will also conduct entertaining games for youth to get acquainted, a quiz on knowledge of the facts about the European Union.
The most active participants and authors of the best drawings will be awarded special prizes and promo products. The best drawings will be exhibited in the International Volunteer Centre of the Brest department of MCHS RB (1 month).
